Inside Here is a 2 panel drawing going back over time. It is created with graphite, collage and conte, and looks to the contrast of strength and vulnerability in the position of motherhood, where the desire to protect is powerful, and the love, intense.  The contrast of black and white is deep, nestled and womb-like, similarities of features tie this grouping together as family, while the separate panels nod to the eventual independence that occurs over time.  It is an image as much about the pain of letting go, as it is of the joy of belonging.
